You are literally talking to me. You make this far too easy for me, like I said in the other thread, I just need to give you enough rope and you do the rest contradicting yourself.
Speaking of rent free, I can't even wrap my head around how weird it is that four of the people who I saw fighting this woke battle daily in the BG3 Steam forum last year are all here doing the same thing on the Space Marine forum. Steam should charge you rent.
But spite all of this i who'd not say this game has gone woke but we will see in September.
And of course, the writer is white themselves. Probably picked the unisex name "Ashley" specifically to increase the frequency of being accidentally misgendered, just to have the joy of correcting people more often.
Keep up believing people having a tantrum at this is the majority.
Just stating what has happened. Don't see nothing wrong at that.
I correct my self a little-bit. Her comments are from 2017-2022 so take this in to the consideration and dont harrass any of the creators of this game.
What angered many about the female Custodes is not just Lore related, it´s more about how extremly lazy and poorly implemented that idea is.
Remember the first introduction of the Primaris Marines?
Being produced since the Scouring (since some of them have seen their Primarch) by the tens of thousands which itself is crazy to think about. Until you consider the Lore.
No one awakens them, when the Imperium and Terra itself was besieged by the Orks, almost ripped himself apart during the Reign of Blood or when Cadia ultimatly fell? Why? Did they forgot the keys or what?
If they were so concerned about diversity and represantation, the Sisters of SIlence would be prime candidates for that. A full overhaul of their model line with their very own Codex and no one would have bat an eye.
Out of morbid curiosity, I'm exploring these so-called "fans" on Reddit and what they made of the Ashley Cooper fiasco when it first drew attention 2 years ago. A few gems from this thread;
https://www.reddit.com/r/Sigmarxism/comments/rdy9sb/this_is_going_to_be_the_most_based_40k_game_yet/
And a few more from this one;
So to get the general gist, they either don't care about the quality of the writing out of sheer spite, or they assume the writing will be good purely due to the gender identity of the writer even though that is exactly what they accuse right-wingers of, they hate "cishet white men" (that one was a given), and they think what 40k is missing is trans allegory.
Well, now I am fully informed, for what that's worth.
spite is all these people have
