All of this game I preordered are standard edition, skins and access at probably one of the buggiest periods is not worth it.

I have 0 doubts they're will be micro-transactions for skins. a $60 game is not enough money for modern game companies nowadays, now they have to let people pay extra money to get in early and give people skins to buy.

I don't really care about skins, but I do have a problem with "early access" as it's less early access and more "Pay extra to play on time or play late".

From what I can gather, even the season pass is all just cosmetics with everything else (new levels, weapons, enemies, etc.) being free additions over time. In short, everything past the base game is worthless as you'll probably replace any cosmetics they give you with something you earn.

PvP is probably going to be what funds the future content since most people won't mind forking over ~10-15€/$ every quarter for customization options that are bundled into some battle/seasonal pass system.

I'm bothered that people enable it. It's harder for me to blame the company because...I mean it's free money for them and it's not really hurting anyone, I'd probably have a hard time saying no to that.

But yeah personally I wouldn't touch these editions that charge more just to play early and get junk cosmetics.

I wasn't sure because the first unlock is labeled a DLC, but the second one is just a pack. Gave the impression the first one was a mission pack or whatever.

Yeah I am not sure what they are smoking, the season pass is worth max 20 bucks, the rest with the skin and few days head start is just delusional.

I usually pre-order but will be skipping this one, I will be hooked on Stalker 2 anyway. (if it hits the Sept release date...)
