So you're saying the Indian is still just a Cadian then, right?
I don't want an Indian Cadian, another seppoy LARPing with the brits, I want an Indian-themed Regiment.
So you're just upset a Cadian has different skin and accent. Okay, thats wack
As said, it's just pure laziness and tokenism, when they can spare the efforts to have a Regiment based on Indian army and military tradition instead.
Remember kids! You can only have diversity if every individual is special! Nobody can just be a person, that doesn't make sense
I would prefer more armies of more cultures, instead of Cadian in different colors, thanks!
The point of Cadians is to be the generic regiment, that's why their uniform aesthetic is one of, if not the most, mish mash of all the regiments and has no 1:1 or real connection to a real life army.

- Cadia was mostly white dudes
- Cadia blew up
- now the "Cadian" army recruits in a lot of different worlds
- bam, POC Cadians guardsmen!
Do not want generic Guard regiment with tokenism and laziness.
Do want ethnic regiment with cool lore and equipment.
Simple as.
This was already mentioned in the lore a very long time, I wanna say in the 90s?
But basically during the time right before the Horus Heresy, Lorgar and the Word Bearers purged Cadia of all life, and later, different groups of people from around the Imperium resettled the planet making it what we know in 40k. So that’s about 10,000 years of migration and what not. It’s never been all white dudes, ever.
Check out the cover art for The Fall of Cadia and Creed - Ashes of Cadia. Also check out "Cadia Stands" on Warhammer TV. All the latest editions of the models show off a wide range of skin tones.
If you want a faction that is 100% dedicated to some ethnic group in contemporary times, I suggest you find another hobby. Cause 40k is the most diverse universe there is. And no amount of weeping is going to change what they've been doing for the last 35 years or so. Now you may come here with your goofy opinion that certain factions should be all white, or all black, or all whatever, but that's just silly wishful thinking. It's never been so, and it will never be so.
And find sure, I'll find a new hobby if GW decides to do more of this tokenism, no worry, whole world of stuff out there, m8.
False, 40k has always been "diverse", especially among the human factions!
This is not new, at all. You're wrong for thinking that. Neither Preistly, GW, or any other Black Library writer supports this notion that there ever was an 'all white', 'all Asian' or 'all black' factions in the universe. If there ever was, then it's a figment of your imagination.
It's not diverse because some Cadians are painted black and brown, that is tokenism, that is lazy.
If they continue to do that, no sale from me. Simple as.
