Anyone have any insider tips or gamer news that indicate the Space Marines are going to be diverse where the white guys are incompetent idiots and some sassy 25 yr old imperial guard super general boss girl chides them throughout the game?

This has to be the most twisted reasoning I've seen on this subject so far.
It makes no sense at all. Has no basis in lore, or reality for that matter.
If I paint all my Cadians white, I'm only using two different paints.
If I decide to make them based on human populations 40,000 years from now, I'd have to use at least 6 different paints for skin tones. How is that "lazy" to use more paint? Lazy would be if I only used one tone . . .

The point of Cadians is to be the generic regiment, that's why their uniform aesthetic is one of, if not the most, mish mash of all the regiments and has no 1:1 or real connection to a real life army.

- Cadia blew up
- now the "Cadian" army recruits in a lot of different worlds
- bam, POC Cadians guardsmen!

If you want a faction that is 100% dedicated to some ethnic group in contemporary times, I suggest you find another hobby. Cause 40k is the most diverse universe there is. And no amount of weeping is going to change what they've been doing for the last 35 years or so. Now you may come here with your goofy opinion that certain factions should be all white, or all black, or all whatever, but that's just silly wishful thinking. It's never been so, and it will never be so.

This is not new, at all. You're wrong for thinking that. Neither Preistly, GW, or any other Black Library writer supports this notion that there ever was an 'all white', 'all Asian' or 'all black' factions in the universe. If there ever was, then it's a figment of your imagination.

Yes, it's diverse because there are a variety of armies based on different cultures. We have space mongols, space Soviet Red Army, space Tzar army, space Red Coats, even Orks Zulu.

It's not diverse because some Cadians are painted black and brown, that is tokenism, that is lazy.

If they continue to do that, no sale from me. Simple as.
