Ultramarines Suck

Out of all of my friends, not a single person has any interest in playing Ultramarines because they're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ lame af. Why can't we choose our legion? Would it really be that hard to just re-colour the armour and switch the pauldron? ♥♥♥♥, you could just make it Deathwatch and there'd be no issue at all with choosing. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Ultramarines.

Being a Ultramarine fan I know the issue you have, but Ultramarines are the selling point, of course I would like to see other chapters shine and have their unique story, like the Blood Angels, Imperial Fists, Space Wolves and many others. But of course everything revolves about how well it sells to make a franchise good and in the near future we may see it come to fruition, here hoping that Henry Cavill will make that true being a executive producer for the Warhammer 40k IP for series and movies. Even a game about the Custodes or Death Watch would be good. Here hoping in the near future.

I wish it was us coming back as a Deathwatch that would have been really sweet and the co op bros could choose there chapter origins. That would been a huge hit

Ultramarines aren't bad; Matt Ward's writing is bad. Unfortunately, not all poster children for factions got the same treatment as Order of Our Martyred Lady for the Adepta Sororitas or the Saim-Hann of the Aeldari in receiving good novels.

But they are boring. They dont got interesting characters or mechanics. Compare them to something like Blood Angels. Best primarch, cool tactics, interesting mechanics with Red Thirst and Black Rage etc. Completely different beasts

Or Dark Angels, who also got a cool primarch, and interesting stuff going on with the Fallen, Deathwing, Asmodai etc

Both very mainstream chapters, yet we never see them. Its always the gyettdamn ultrasmurfs

The Ultramarine is the iconic one that're basically the poster-boys of the series. Kinda makes sense that they'd be the main characters.

Trust me, I'd rather have Blood Ravens and their metal boxes myself, but I understand why its Ultramarines instead.

Ultramarines also happen to be the nemesis of the tyranids. Over the course of the tyrannic wars they've been the chapter that has suffered the most and, as a result, are best adapted to combat them. They are the logical choice.

Out of the 1st founding chapters yes, but other chapters have suffered much worse
