Collecting and time stuck

Since last night the time in my story game stopped progressing and at some point my workers didn't move for collecting anymore. Their activity switches rapidly between idle and collection (upper left when you right-click on one of them). If I remove all collection assignees I get an endless loop of notifications that no worker is assigned to collecting.
Tried in the save game that's stuck on a specific time and had it happen in a new sandbox game very quickly.
Restarts, even of my pc bc the issues started last night, didn't do anything for me.

Figured out that closing the hotel with guests present leads to time getting stuck at the point in time when I close. Didn't expect that. Time reset when I reopened the hotel.

Workers aren't stuck anymore with the latest Patch. Edit: Nvm, it only worked for a bit. They don't gather things and can't access dirty sheets on beds anymore...
