So after you beat the story, you can redo the last stage to get element metals, but like

Not really, that's the best "farm" place. But so far I've never felt like I need to farm them except for ViA's fragments. After you complete most of the achievements, you should have enough for maxing most of the characters and weapons. I've maxed all DiVE characters and the final weapons without ever farming element metals.

Events are decent sources of these, you can get afaik 1k per event after unlocking all the rewards, getting 4,5k event points.

If you get all of the Deep Elements, you will get as a reward 60 000 of those, plus all the other little rewards on the way.

Each S ranked race is also worth around 1000.

Way more than what you need to unlock all Limited characters, weapons and cards.

Of course, Jacob elevator also gives more of them. But for full achievements, that's the hardest part, so better go ready at that one.
