Is this game just bad or were my expectations too high?

I understand that quite a few of you think this game is good but I just don't see it. I'm level 40 now and so far it's just a trash gotcha game with mega man characters. All the pieces are there to make a good game but they didn't. I get the gotcha elements are half the point of the game, but they forgot to make anything fun to go along with it.
The levels are all mind numbingly easy. Just 2 min of holding the fire button and casually hopping through what can only be described as the easiest platforming in any mega man game. The bosses are also painfully easy so far. and since they wanted to put in more gotcha elements, everything has to be "balanced" around upgrading stuff. But you can buy a machine gun at the beginning of the game that's so overpowered it's all you'll use. Why use anything else when this can drain 8 health bars from a boss in 15 seconds.

And that doesn't even touch on the ugly ass character art that you get after you complete a level. They're trying too hard to shove tits in my face when they aren't even good looking tits. Like why bother make them bounce if the artists have never seen breasts in person so they don't know what shape they are. Insanity. So much wasted effort. I'll stick with classic mega man. This trash, and people gobbling it up is why I don't buy games anymore.

It was designed for a touchscreen. Of course it's going to be too easy by more conventional input methods.

It's a mobile gacha game with delusions of adequacy, but that was what we expected going in and were pleasantly surprised.

I say "It's a mobile game, your expectations were too high ". However. I respect it for being an updated look at many characters from the series and interactive gallery.

It is a mobile gacha game and gallery combined. I say it's acceptable, it's not worth the full 30 dollars, but 5 as this is a respectable game to collect all of the characters and waifus.

You had your expectations astronomically too high. This is just a repuprosed, mid-range mobile gacha game. This game was made almost 5 years ago and had a 3 1/2 year run on mobile/steam before it ended service, with this releasing later the same year right before the original version shut down. (nebulajoy's version does not count) This is mostly here as a means of preservation and for those who wanted to come back to it.

I'd tell you to research more before making a purchase but that seems to be difficult for you. If you were expecting anything other than what you got that's sorely on you.
