Game not launching with updated mods.
Topic. I re-installed the 3 mods bepin, orange, and binary and when I launch the game the bepin window comes out but the game won't launch.

Not sure what I did wrong, everything before the update was fine. I assumed I just had to reinstall the updated mods but that didn't work.

No, for the mods you need to revert the game's version. The stuff the mods work with flat out got removed thanks to the update. You'll have to look around for a guide on how to do that; I lack that information.

this is false. you do not need to revert to a lower version use mods.

did you delete the old GameAssembly.dll.bak file before using the updated version of Binary? and did you make sure it was the updated version of Binary?

Step by step I redownloaded all 3 mods, and copy and pasted them via the same steps as the first time. I replaced all the files as it prompted me.

Now when I launch the game I get the bepin window but the game doesn't actually launch and it closes after a few seconds.

hm. im unsure what your problem is then. all i can think of is making sure you downloaded the correct, up to date binary file and actually ran the patch properly. i know it is possible to play modded on the latest update, because i am. but im unsure what the issue is here

ok, just to make sure, did you delete the OLD GameAssembly.dll.bak file before running the new patch? you need to do that for the patch to work

Should've been overwritten when the bepin folder was reinstalled

uh huh, well idk what the issue is then. the only thing i can think of is reinstalling BepinEX or Tangerine might've done something? cause you didnt actually need to do that. you only needed the updated version of Binary. but even then im not sure if thats what the issue is

The kicker is I actually uninstalled xdive and reinstalled and did it all again just to make sure. Same result. Probably gonna have to end up rolling back the version update at some point but It's w/e. It's not like i'm in any rush to keep playing. It's just a gacha port.

I should add the bepin window opens when I launch the game, as normal, only instead of launching the game bepin just closes.

I never read the bepin window when it worked to know if It's saying anything useful. There's a bunch of red text and it says 0 patcher plugins loaded and 0 assemblies discovered so maybe that means something?

Hi, someone from the modding discord server here. There's a pre-patched gameassembly.dll available for download. Sounds like your system isn't patching it properly. If you need more help ask in the troubleshooting thread.
