Collab characters?

Figured I would ask if they kept the Collab characters in the game with this release of the version?,

they didn't include them. I saw someone say modders were going to try to add them in, but I don't really know anything except that is what they said.

There legit reason why they avoid adding them back in. They need to ask other gaming company to use them again for mega man x dive offline. Doing it with out some one permission can face lawsuit.

I probability say it wrong. The way you saying it like steam own all steam game. Not like that. Its the original person that made those character that you need the permission for it.

That's wrong. The rights to the characters are held by the company, not their original creators. Capcom can do with their characters what they want regardless of how the creators feel. You think they got Akira Kitamura's permission to put out this game? Of course not. The only crossover that requires any real discussion is Street Fighter due to the IP being owned by Capcom USA instead of Capcom Japan.

Which don't make it easy to get it cross over for this game. Just because some random user on forum want it. Does not mean they will do it for you guys for free. Usually they want some thing return in large profit.

Yea this is pretty much right. Effectively, they probably will drop these characters later as a DLC thing. I mostly just wanted to know if they were in the game because the DMC collab characters look too ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ nice to not be in the game.

That said, if which global branch it is matters, it's actually notable that X DiVE is from Capcom Taiwan.

Yeah, but the Mega Man IP is owned by Capcom Japan and Capcom Japan has been heavily involved with X DiVE development for years. Heck, just look at the copyright on this game's title screen. "Capcom Co., Ltd." is Capcom Japan.

The person responsible for these collabs is busy with IRL stuff right now (mainly college) so they will return, eventually. But not for now.
