Aile (ZXA) is Heal + Mobility. She gets some pretty crazy speed when using her charge shot and it also heals her. She's not as good at surviving as Cinnamon but she can definitely reach some harder to reach spots.
I'm still experimenting around now that I've cleared the story so I haven't found much in the way of "all around"ers yet.
Mobility + Shield. His Dash has invincibility and can be used twice in a row and his beam eyes have an upgrade at rank 5 to turn them into a block that negates all damage while they fire.
Furthermore you can negate the block from beam eyes by attacking which means you can get multiple uses of them as a block before they go on cooldown since they won't go on cooldown until you use all of the shots.
Bass GS has shielding and I think can get a mobility buff?
He's been amazing for shielding damage and slowly healing back what little damage i do take.
Servbot. Does shield and heal them self for a bit after eat their food. Does have high jump for some reason. Fun character for being tiny. Not really ideal for kill boss fast though.
Regular Ciel have a passive that also gives SPD when you summon your elf.
Also there is a purple Megaman X card that give you a fixed SPD buff.
On the other hand, S class Hunter X gets a shield on hit that lasts quite awhile. No heals, but no need to heal what can't be hit...
The starting dash card can also give you temporary speed up at the beginning of a stage, and the air buster provides speed up on enemy hit, so you have options outside of character abilities for mobility too.
Going through the wiki, there's a lot of eligible characters (assuming 5 stars, full DNA code, and use of Batton/Air buster where needed), but to provide a partial list:
- Black Zero can cast shield and has a chance of speed up on enemy hit.
- Cinnamon can cast shield with angel aura at 3 hearts and speed up at 4, but sacrifices her main healing to do so.
- Harpuia gains speed up after casting any skill, and shield from triple slash.
- Volnutt alt. doesn't have shield, but can heal and gain temporary invincibility from vending machine breaker alongside speed up. If you only need the shield in short bursts, he'll suffice.
- Similarly, Fourth Armour X doesn't have speed up, but Nova strike can be used as a mobility option and casting it gives shield. Against bosses this can translate to indefinite shield uptime if you time your stock charge shots right.
- Gaea Armour X can gain shield and speed up, but only when hit, and the shield requires a short range attack to activate.
- Bass & Treble can get speed up using treble slam and shield using any skill
- Third Armour X has healing and shield innately, but the healing requires you to stand still for a long time and the shield is chance based on hit. His character card provides more reliable HP recovery through hyper chip, which also provides additional mobility through the triple jump.
- Bass GS has a chance of shield on hit.
- DiVE Armour X can cast shield with nova aura, which can also heal on cast.
- Bass XX casts shield with any skill and heals when defeating enemies.
- Angepitoyeir casts shield when using annihilation ray cannon, and heals on enemy defeat.
- ViA gains shield using his blue skill, speed up using his swift skill, and heals on enemy defeat.
- Dr. Light gains shield using both skills (but only the second part of Budo barrage), and speed up using the first part of Budo barrage.
- Shadow Armour X casts shield when using giga attack, and speed up when using shadow shot.
- DiVE Cross Megaman gains shield on hit, speed up on casting skills, and heals on enemy defeat.
- DiVE Armour Iris gains speed up from Blinking Slash and shield on casting any skill.
- Next DiVE Armour X gains speed up and shield on casting any skill.
- White Day Cinnamon gains shield and heals on casting love infusion.
Keep in mind that you don't need all three to reliably survive bosses or regular stages. Hope this helps.
