Good so far. Progression is a bit more straight forward and there's a bit more focus on the story stages, as they are the main way to unlock things and level up, at least on the initial levels. Story stages give a bunch of things when you beat them the first time, and leveling is pretty steady. You also get two S rank characters just for finishing the first two areas, which you can use to do the content a bit easier.

I think the dev succeeded in transforming a gacha game into a single player self contained game.

i came into this expecting a standard controls megaman x game. it isn't. but the roots are there, and i can easily adapt. it feels good, and the character variety seems cool as hell. i only played the intro stage though. i need more time with it, but as a long time fan of megaman, i have no regrets about buying this.

I fight the Yellow Devil not to long ago. It was not as hard I though it was... I am using normal RiCO against it for fun. When compare to original yellow devil more annoying from mega man 1.

Now that the game is offline I think that it counts to the roster of games, this game drinks from more inspiration of X than any other games (Rico design, etc).

at this point, i think if you want an experience that's closer to megaman x than this is, you'd have to go for games like 20xx and 30xx. which are just megaman x roguelikes. very good games too. but i like this one for what it is as well, and for me, it's a solid addition to my megaman collection, as are 20xx and 30xx.

It's not the best mega man gameplay wise but if you like upgrading and seeing numbers go higher with your favorite charcter good fun it is a lot of fun I never used swords on the phone version but trying them out now pretty fun

Personally I'm a fan of rifles, the 3 direction shots are really good, but I feel that swords have an advantage here.
I wish that the game had a trial mode for me to try the character and weapons, since I wasn't a player of the online and I don't know very much, but this is only a minor pet peeve.

while the game never had anything like a trial to test a character out, they still allowed you to look at any unearned character you want to check their stats and skills. (which come to think of it, was absurdly generious since other games would of hid their character or animation till you had them) tho I do admit it would be handy if the weapon section had a better visual representation of how they worked.
