clunky controls
The control scheme is really messy, I can't even edit the button mapping. The reward system is also really spam. You can tell this is a mobile game port.

The controls are quite simple and the reward system is fine. It’s quite obvious you never played the original online only version before this

It's fine on Xbox Series X controller at least.

the only thing surprising to me was that the "challenge" difficulty didnt have a reward for beating it. but otherwise the rewards are way better then whats usual for the online version. plus they give you the option to map your buttons before you properly start stage 1. (tho if it cant read your controller I understand the problem there.)

I had to use Steam's controller tools; I tried DirectInput because that should be the default- but it wanted the L1 and R1 triggers to be start and select, and would not let me remap them no matter what. So I tried X360CE- but since the game still sees the Direct Input, it now thinks I'm hitting two buttons at once whenever I press a button. My path of last resort was Steam, which thankfully seems to have solved the issue.

Go back to WoW and ride your $60 mount.

What an incredibly lame attempt at an insult.

The controls could use some fine tuning to fix some glaring issues, but otherwise they're mostly fine.

Proper controller support for menu navigation would be nice. The whole "directional input moves your cursor" method of menu navigation has been done to death and feels like a cop-out. I also don't get why you have to choose either the analog stick or the D-Pad for movement and leave the other option disabled outright.

I've been playing on a Xbox Controller and it's been really good. I suggest trying that out!

It's fine on dualsense controller + if you find automatic aim to be clunky for instance you can turn it off. and you CAN edit the button mapping... so what even are you on about OP?
