Crash after save

EDIT: i think found a fix. i just played an event and everything's back to normal. crashes are gone

just adding another voice to this thread that yeah, it saved like once each on the auto and manual slots and then stopped. looking into a few options right now, but no guarantees

after moving the installation, reinstalling, deleting and restoring save files, trying admin modes... what solved the issue was literally turning my computer off and back on again. I need to lie down.

Same here, only crashes I got, wanted to speed things up a bit, please let me know if you find any way to have it work. Looked into it but can't seem to find a solution to this.

Here's a solution:

Open the game, then Task Manager.
Go to Details tab, find Game.exe (which is the exe for Megaman X Dive), right click on it and set priority to High.
For some reason this solved the issue for me.

You have to close (shut it down not minimize) cheat engine before you click save and it will be fine.

Capcom's old anticheat has remnants in the offline version, in particular a rather intrusive aspect. If you have ANY window open with the word "cheat" in the title bar or even on your browser, like Chrome, the game will close itself while saving, be it manual or auto.

So if you're making any edits, do them and close your program before saving.

I crashed once after autosave right before the credit sequence but I suspect I know what the cause was; I was using Steam's broadcast feature which limits the game to 60 fps even though i had the 240 FPS limit on so it might've been the mismatch with that because outside of that I have never crashed.

This is wrong because I tested it with MS edge which changes titlebar to be the currently active tab, i tested it and it did not force close with the word "cheat".

Yeah, I have also had issues with the Autosave and manual Saves before, I am glad to see that I am not the only one experiencing the issue though. I sure hope that we receive updates for the game because I have also experienced other bugs in it, that were actually around when the game was online, but have not been resolved even in this Offline version.

I tried this. No more crashes after I finished the second to last story mission, and trying to save.
Does the crashes truly gone for you too since you tried an event to fix it?
