As someone who loves gore, visual novels, and horror, I really can't recommend this game.

I'm going to be pretty harsh but 99% of this game is fetish related but tries to pretend it has a deep message behind it when it really doesn't. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

The first three routes are extremely generic and boring, besides Kiika who has an offensively poor portrayal of sex addiction route. It was described in such a way that it was clear the author had a fetish for girls suffering from such a tragic thing. I don't mind reading 18+ material and enjoy it sometimes even, but this game has more pxxxrn than actual plot and it's ridiculous. Most of the time the 18+ scenes feel forced and so unnecessary and I felt myself skipping them after three would happen in a row back to back.

The bully character and his gang was so corny it was impossible to take seriously. The main character is also so edgy it was embarrassing reading his perspective most of the time. I can't really see characters as a threat if they're just going to be bad to be bad. It felt like a fanfiction....

Akane is really annoying and she continues to be annoying once you try going for the other 2 main girls. The trauma arc that she has with the main character made my jaw drop but not in a good way. I was surprised anyone could see it as anything other than a sick fetish LOL. (And I don't feel bad for the main character in any way for DOING THAT TO HER??? HELLO??? I DON'T GET HOW SHE FORGAVE HIM EITHER LOL)

Aoi was corny but I actually liked her arc at first until the bad stuff started happening. It could have been so interesting when she disappeared into the mirror world but then.... boom more fetish stuff. (Why....?)

I thought I was going to really like Kiika because I love her design and I know someone who went through similar trauma, but no... it was grossly misrepresented and it disappointed me.

The caregiver's arc.... why does this even exist? I don't find her character interesting at all and of course the main character ends up being with her which is SUPER CREEPY????

The game doesn't start getting interesting until the final route, Yukari's route, but even that is tainted with the 18+ material which is uncomfortable considering she is stuck in a child's body. I enjoyed her route besides that part and it was the only part of the entire story that was really good and interesting which sucks cuz I was already done with the game at that point lol.

The censorship steam has on this game is .... silly. I don't get why this game is even on steam if they are just going to censor 80% of the content LOL. (I'm not joking a solid 60% of the game is erotic and the other 20% is gore). If you are going to get this game, you NEED the patch or else you're not getting your money's worth.

I was really disappointed in this story and prob have the unpopular opinion. I love stories like Song of Saya, You and Me and Her, so I thought this would be up my ally. (I also was annoyed with the Saya no uta 18+ content but that one had an engaging story throughout so I could push through it).

I know this game is really old, and it really shows, but that is not an excuse to have offensively cheesy writing and bad characters + story.

I love the art and the ending theme though. Also, Yukari is best girl ofc, but damn.... this was such a disappointing story lol.
I can't be the only one who feels this way... ? But it seems like this game is widely loved for some reason.

Not sure how to rate this one. I played with patch, since last time I played a game of theirs with the patch it offered nothing worthwhile so this time I wanted to purely play the story.

It's a vn so it's hard to rate it since it doesn't have game mechanics etc so I'll rate it entirely by the audio, visuals and story.

Story wise I have to admit it's not good. It took a gruelling long time before it even got into anything horror ish, as it was mostly just very loaded with slice of life filler content that I guess you could argue is character development but the thing is, it all didn't matter in the end. They were all useless characters that didn't progress the story or offer anything meaningful to the narrative. And the narrative is... Nothing much. Just a weird guy that supposedly does bad things in a mansion. What happened there thought, you'll never know, what was the well? Too bad you'll never find out. Nothing was fleshed out, like literally nothing. Just ended the same way you'd end your bad stories in high-school like, "and they all died" or "and then the house burnt down" you know? And the character design of gore is hilarious. And will not be elaborated on, ever. I don't know, it was just... Boring.

Visuals are OK, it's nostalgic and old school. Completely fine.

Music was OK as well. Sound effects too.

Unfortunately the whole experience was just ok, thus I only recommend it at a big discount.

For some reason this version was completely broken for me and missing options from it, like the ability to pick choices or ways to quickly load back into previous chapters. It also completely cut out in intro part which sets up one of the characters. Get the version on JAST even if your not into eroge like me stuff, its just superior.

I wish this game was more horror and jumpscare-esque than it was fetish content especially of minors. I'm actually so sad because this game was looking to be really good until I finished, so much prn and for what? Too many things feel so left out from what the story was trying to convey. I cannot recommend this game to anyone really, I can't. This game started off so strong but fell off so bad.

Only worth reading if you like wasting your time, the writing is terrible, expected something more interesting or at least more entertaining.
