How to use a gamepad/ controller?

I checked and there is no option in the game that say 'gamepad' but somepeople say that they play this game with gamepads/ controllers. So, can anyone help me. Please make it detailed and easy to follow instruction. I find many confusing ones.

I Use XPadder. Google it, then download it, configure your buttons and play with gamepad. XPadder replaces your keyboard and mouse with your gamepad. You can use XPadder with all games where you use a keyboard and mouse.

i use Razer Nostromo. its sort of a left hand 1/2 keyboard. has 14 programable keys. helps a lot for melee toons.

Why would you want to use a controller? These games are not made for a controller... Good luck with that even if you do get it to work..., coause your gonna get owned if you do pvp... But maybe you just do pve which is boring lol.
