expansion pack

I wanted to start a game with the extra race but says i need the expansion pack....forget the name of the race sorry. does anyone know how i can get the expansion pack so i can play as this race?

To play a Khitai (asian) you need the expansion "Rise of the Godslayer".
Expansions can be bought ingame in item shop.
You also can reach it via browser Store[www.ageofconan.com]
Expansions are found under "Account and Character" as far as I remember.

If you can get a RotGs DVD somewhere, that also works. You'll need to contact the support to add the key to your account. The DVD provides you with 30 days premium access if your account has not been premium before.


If you are f2p and buy this expansion, the only thing you can do is start a khitaian character.

BUT as f2p you have no access to the following:
the zones of that expansion
progress in "alternative advancement"

You need to be premium for that!


As premium you'll get 10% off on all stuff in the item shop.
So it would be wise to go premium first and then buy the expansion.

ok just did that.... were do i go to find it once i buy it? i just got it but still cant begin as a Khitai

It sometimes takes a moment.
You can check on your account page if it is activated.

You'll probably need to quit the game and start again.

i first paid for premium thinking i needed to lol then i found i had to buy it through the shop which i also did. no regrets though as the game is awesome :) i even got myself a lil wolf cub which is ultra cute!
