Middle SAVE?

I'm not able to exit the game and resume the same match as before,
is that ... intentional?
i can't find anything about it on the forms, but not being able to come back to a game i started is a big deal

Hey, sadly there is no way to save the game mid-shift now!

I was looking for this as well. It would be nice to have a save mid-shift if something comes up.

You sure? Only choices I have when I have the game paused is Continue, Options, Training and End Shift. And the End Shift literally ends it, no going back. Is there something I'm missing?

you select the save rune between rounds. It looks like a floppy disk and is always on the right side. You have to sacrifice a rune slot like "extra tower" or "+65% attack speed" in order to select it and you can only save once per game.

That's not a "I've got 10 minutes before work" save, or even a "30 minutes before bed" save. Things come up without notice or have limited time to play. If it was between every round (card draw), that would be fine. But between stages can take a while, depending on how fast you play. I just wish more devs would help us busy people out and give us a "Save and Exit" option.

Yeah when they said in the patch notes "we added a save" and then that was the save I kind of said to myself "so you didnt add a save?"
Either way... thats the save
Fair point tho on save and exit, even fallout 4 legendary mode where you can only save at a bed will create a temporary save if you exit
