Problem combining structures.

Sometimes I try to fuse two structures of the same level and name but the game don't allow me to do it, I have to remove one and put another if I want to have an upgraded version. It's this a bug or I'm missing something?

Hello, it happened with the basic fire towers at level 4(purple) and the unholy towers at level 3(blue), I'm not sure but I think it didn't happen in all the runs, just randomly. Hope it helps to fix it. Thank you for the quick answer.
I play the game using a controller, forgot to mention before, but everything just work fine except when I have that problem.

I was also having this same issue with the Lvl 4 Sunder Towers last night with controller buttons on Steam Deck. I had to use my finger to tap the combine button in the screen to get it to work

Same issue for me, blue sin spotter and purple holy wind in the run right now but it also happened with the unholy dmg towers in previous runs

For more clarity, I had no issues using the controller to combine Sunder Towers at lvl 2 or 3. I only was unable to use the controller to combine the Sunder Towers at lvl 4 for some reason

This happens all the time, only with controller. If you can use a mouse or touch screen to click the button it never fails. Same thing with combining cards, sometimes pressing X will not let you move cards to the area. Seems very intermittent from experience.

I'm having the same issue. Still hasn't been fixed as of October. Trying to combine 2 level 4 Sin Spotters. The combine button simply doesn't do anything.
