Not sure what free players miss out on, I think several levels are locked out if the store page is anything to go by.

Technically speaking it's not a demo and technically it is free to play. Free to play doesn't always mean the entire game is free to everyone. A very large majority of free to play entice people to play enough to want to spend money. This game is no exception.
Otherwise this is a demo.
This. The "free to play" model is generally "time vs. money", not "a minor part of the game for free and the rest paid for". If this brings more people to try their game and ultimately buy it, good for them.
Not a fan of this attitude towards the customer base. It's not a free to play game, it's clearly a demo, I'm not stupid and you shouldn't treat me like that.
NEVER BUY MULTIPLAYER CENTRIC INDIE or CHEAP GAMES.
exp : Showdown Effect small community , this game going f2p , bloody good time dead after a month , war of the roses , gotham city impostors , ABP , forge etc.
