Unity of Command is unpopular game?

Bought it and liked it, very challenging game.

There are not many videos on youtube, and I heard about it only on steam sale.

Nobody make Unity of Command giveaways on steamgifts site, which is another indication that game is underrated.

Perhaps if they added steam achievements and steam workshop, game would be more popular.

There may be another reason, price is too high without discount. I bought it at -66%

I agree it's underrated and underplayed. Just look at the activity, or lack of, on this forum for another indication. I'm really enjoying it. I bought X-COM last year after all the hype and favourable reviews and thought it was totally overrated. This is a far better game for me, but it doesn't get the attention it deserves . Although, the few reviews it did get were pretty good.

I don't see why this is overpriced. It's half the price of X-COM and other new games.

Is it worth buying if I never played that kind of games before?

From the strategy games I played, I really enjoyed Stronghold 1 and Crusader, also Empire: Total War (only managing the map though, not the battles)

I actually like difficult games and WW2 themes

It's more like Heroes, but with logistics. Game is very challending, if you fail mission, you fail campaign, you can't save and load games.

I haven't played this game, but I've heard nothing but good things about it. Generally, good games aren't very popular. It is unfortunate.

BTW game (including DLC) is again at -50% discount until Feb 21th.
