Heartwood Online

Heartwood Online

lv.1 to lv.30 was ok. after no.
I really enjoy this game, like so much about it, but the grind is too much for mining/woodcutting and crafting. The exp grind is only little too much. I have completely stopped playing after level 35, after you reach the caves, it's unplayable. Which makes me sad cause I do like this game. I wasn't able to get any mining/treecutting leveled up past lv.20, at that point the grind is infinite and feels bad. This is way too much grind.

Ya i feel ya. Fun little game that i want to play more, but after about 30 hours, im just spending about 90% of my time just mining or chopping trees just to get these skills to 20 so i can make my next set of armor and pick axe. And this is just to have lvl 30 stuff. Its one thing if i can kills mobs to get my gear and crafting was to make special gear or lvling gear, but this is such a hard wall that makes me just say peace and good luck to the game.

Yea, I hope the monsters in the future will drop armor/weapons/crafting items because it's alot. I don't mind grinding but imo the blacksmith and carpentry leveling is too much. I just finish lvl 15 blacksmith for a rare drop and it took three days for me, I take breaks. After I got done with that I was like "Oh yay new armor now!" and got hit with "Must be lvl 20 in blacksmith". Like bruhhhhhhhhh :steamsad:

Thanks for posting. Haven't played yet, but it's good to know that they didn't know how to design the game to be fun late game. I've heard good things about Ashes of Creation in that regard though

I'm in the Ashes of Creation A2. The late game is definitely not there, unless you like grinding the same mobs for dozens of hours on end. The game itself is fun, but the end game is not there yet.

I barely played this game, but after researching I came to the same conclusion as this post. I hope the best for the devs!
Been about 1 year since i last played, was wondering what had been added to maybe make it worth coming back and play, however, after looking over the latest gameplay vids and the Heartwood Atlas i can see that nothing has been added when it comes to level up, instead it's the same as when i left, instead they have added Fishing and something else, and also more crafting recipes, which means....nothing.

I stopped playing after i hit lvl 45, grinding Overseer, got everything from him except for the rare Shield, and i was satisfied with that since there is pretty much nothing to do at that point other than crafting, and since you don't need to personally craft anything yourself, there is 0 need to level up crafting yourself, i had all my stuff crafted by guildmates when i played and had all the good stuff from simply buying the materials i needed to get.

Sad to see that it's pretty much the same game it was from 1 year ago.

The grind too repetitive, for example to make some leather i need pelts, thats for lvl1 mobs. So i was trying get lw lvl 10 and was killing rabbits.
Felt like i could kill rabits for weeks.

Fishing then, its the worse skill possible
