New Player

Any new updates or anything on this game? Saw a youtube video over this game from 7 months ago, in early access, youtuber said there isn’t a whole lot going on in the game. When i look at the game from then to now, everything seems to be the same, no? Is this game essentially dead or still a work in progress?
I’m really enjoying the game so far so i’m hoping it’s not dead, just looking for some clarification considering the Heartwood Online Reddit is basically dead.

yeah i wish there was more content and communication, it makes me not want to dive into the game any deeper, get sucked in, just to experience disappointment in the end but I genuinely enjoy the game so far.
Hopefully I won’t be disappointed.

Virtually no transparency? They post all the time. A dev literally said this less than an hour ago. "Update is almost here we'll be posting news/announcement in the next few days about it." And in the general chat not the patron only one.
