Holy smokes, this guy! It doesn't matter what year they came out in. Yes that series is finished, that's why this is Bit.Trip presents. But it takes place between Runner and Fate. Watch the ending of Runner and the intro to Runner 2, this is explicit. Or ask Gaijin Games if you have to, but Runner 2's story of chasing Timbletot is 100% continued in Fate.

the "to be continued", is talking about the story being continued in fate

Nope. Not a fan of the bit trip series. Runner 2 however is amazing. (Bit Trip series contains six games and Runner 2 is not actually a part of it)

It does explain why Commander Video loses it in Fate, and since it adds in a missing piece to tthe story, I consider it part of the series.

It is talking about Fate, because this game takes place between Runner and Fate.
