Game won't start!!!!

I double click the game icon to start the game, but then it says that certain problems have caused the program to not work. Please help!!!!!

I have the same problem when i start the game it starts loading then brings up and error screen which forces me to have to sign out of my pc and go back in. this started after i changed my resoultion setting and i thought that was the problem but it wasn't. this really disappoints me because this game looked like a pretty cool and interesting game

It started to work after I had fully reset my computer. Maybe I had some files missing that the game needed in order to play.

mine still doest work >.< it was perfectly fine. then said I was missing certain dll files so I downloaded them, but the problem now is that is simply says a "problem" has caused it to stop working on start up.. help?..

I honestly don't know what to do for that, you can either try uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. Or try to validate the files again.

This worked for me, hope it works for you.

1. Uninstall the game from the steam client.
2. Go to \Steam\steamapps\common and delete Tom Clancy's Endwar. Just the whole damn thing.
3. Reinstall the game from the steam client.
4. Validate the files from the steam client and launch the game.

Yo!!!!!!!!! Thank you SOOOO much!!! I hadn't been able to play for a month straight. Game would stop at the loading screen. I kept un-installing/re-installing to no avail but as soon as I followed your method and deleted the whole damn folder after un-installing from the steam client, she's good money now! I'm about to crack some cold brew open and play all ♥♥♥♥♥♥ nite now!!!!

Oh wow I completely forgot that I posted this all those years ago lol. Glad that was the answer to the issue tho! I think I tried that long ago but forgot to mark it as the answer. Went ahead and marked it just in case someone else comes across this issue :)

Thank you this method is good, now I can play Tom Clancy's Endwar and also Thanks for this discussion ^_^
