There is no online. It was discontinued almost a decade ago.
The only way to play online now is to use RAdminVPN. However, that only allows you to play skirmish via LAN.

Unfortunately yes. The ToW and Online Skirmish servers were shut down preventing any further online play. However, another user (shobbs001) has discovered a method of playing Skirmish via LAN mode. You just need to use the program RAdmin VPN. I see your already a member of the discord. If you need any further help getting it setup or looking for people to play with feel free to ask in the general channel or DM me. My username is the same on the server as it is here.

That's a shame, I personally think this game was underrated, I played it a lot on PS3.
