seeker missiles

Do seeker missiles hit a particular spot on your ship? If you have parts of your ship that are weakened (due to harder difficulties or otherwise) do they hit that?

Just lost a run where I was taking more damage than i excepted on a few occasions and couldn't figure out why.

I believe they hit the closes available spot on your ship

Bananiel is correct: Whichever part of your ship is closest to the seeker is the part it will hit. Seekers will also visibly angle themselves toward the part they're targeting, so you can still tell which part it will strike if it's in the same lane as an empty spot on your ship.

The strength status of a ship part (weakened, brittle, armored) applies to seekers just like any other external damage source.
