What animal is Dizzy?

So it's stated in dialogue Riggs is a possum, Peri and Drake seem to have some kinda of dinosaur/dragon thing going on, Isaac is a goat, Books looks like some kinda rat I think, but Dizzy is a mystery to me. He's green, which would make me think lizard, but the facial shape and features kinda make me think cat or dog of some sort.

Not going to lie, the species of all these characters is a more confounding mystery to me than anything involving the time loop.

90% of characters look to be lizards. I think they're supposed to be kobolds. Books is a rabbit i'm pretty sure. I think Dizzy is a lizard boi too.

Peri might also be a rhinocerous.

Honestly the designs remind me of Starship Saggitarius, an old "animals in space" cartoon where the lead character is supposed to be a dog but looks like a pink hippopotamus. This games art style reminds me of that in general. In a good way.
