Worm A needs exhaust
I'm currently sitting at the final boss and thanks to a scaffolding in the middle of my Aries, we literally cannot kill each other if I just keep playing Worm A that is now my entire hand.

I think that's the point because you can use it sparingly but if you use it too much it generates nothing but shield boosts which keeps you alive but also soft locks you. I had the same happen to me on a previous run and had to just throw it in. You're supposed to spec into other max cards if you use it since he has a few that can remove cards from your hand such as a card that fires at the cost of two cards in your hand.

There are cards that specifically do this though (give ways to exhaust/remove cards) which I think is part of the intention of their existence, to get around the problem /limitation of filling up your hand with useless cards. Max has a lot of them (I forget who has wormhole though).

One thing I really dislike about this game (atm) is that I can't easily look up all the cards as I don't have them unlocked yet in my Codex, but I know there is a card that makes your entire hand "exhaustable" until you use it, as well as cards that let you exhaust stuff based on their location (or just choose one to exhaust). I can't wait for someone to add a card wiki page so I can reference the names of the cards.

So if you took a card like Worm A without having any idea of how to remove cards or any cards to help with that, that's kind of a learning point for you on how to deck build since not playing cards is an option as well and often the right choice (IMO).

There are a lot of interesting and weird combos like that, where card A might be useless or even bad until you have card B as the solution to make it work or overpowered which is kind of the point for a lot of these Deck builders.

It's just weird because some of the most broken combos are really easy to set up where as a lot of the fringe "normal" style combos take a lot to setup and aren't even as strong.

Worm is definitely one of these risk cards where you can get too many of them in your deck to a point it stops being useful. Haven't yet tried it out for that reason lol
