One thing I really dislike about this game (atm) is that I can't easily look up all the cards as I don't have them unlocked yet in my Codex, but I know there is a card that makes your entire hand "exhaustable" until you use it, as well as cards that let you exhaust stuff based on their location (or just choose one to exhaust). I can't wait for someone to add a card wiki page so I can reference the names of the cards.
So if you took a card like Worm A without having any idea of how to remove cards or any cards to help with that, that's kind of a learning point for you on how to deck build since not playing cards is an option as well and often the right choice (IMO).
There are a lot of interesting and weird combos like that, where card A might be useless or even bad until you have card B as the solution to make it work or overpowered which is kind of the point for a lot of these Deck builders.
It's just weird because some of the most broken combos are really easy to set up where as a lot of the fringe "normal" style combos take a lot to setup and aren't even as strong.
