Treasure in Corvo's Chambers
So I've started an another playthrough. After I went through a visit from The Outsider and eventually started the next chapter, I was greeted by humming sounds of about 10 bonecharms in Corvo's chambers and like 1500 to 2000 gold worth of valuables. With all of these things there were also included diaries of The Spymaster, Slackjaw and Granny Rags. I'm no Dishonored officionato in any way, but I've played through the game like 5 or 6 times already in various ways and have never had this happen at any point.

So my question is, what triggers this to occur?

That's the DLC, if you bought the Daud campaign + trials you might've got the main campaign loot along side it

Another thing I noticed is that you get 10 bone charm slots, that's broken :D. I remember you would only get 6 or so with all the upgrades.
Well I mean the whole thing is kinda ridiculous, that's such a huge headstart that it gives you. Is there perhaps a way to get rid of it? I think it makes the game too easy.

I know it's insane lol, if you go into your DLC on Steam, you can uncheck the bonus stuff, just make sure you keep the DLC you want
