[BUG] Lady Boyle

There is bug when trying to deliver Lady Boyle to Brisby in the boat. If you get a red cross on her portrait and text ASSASSINATED, it means you failed non-lethal option. In order to succeed, you have to kill the rats in the cellar BEFORE kidnapping her, and try to walk over barrels along the plank, instead of jumping down. And after delivering her unconscious body, check to see if the text under Lady Boyle's portrait says Target NEUTRALIZED in greyish color.
Also, sometimes the cutscene doesn't start when you bring her unconscious body to Brisby, it most likely means the save quest got bugged somewhere.

Well if you are playing non-lethal there are no rats but the bug is just a bug and I don't know what to do with it

So you are suggesting that the bug is related to the non-lethal takedown on Lady Boyle, and not the rats? Best I can think of to get past this bug, is that you load to an earlier point in the mission, and keep trying a few more times. If that fails, you can restart the whole mission from the beginning. And then, if you really want to proceed, you can try finding another person's save game.
