A crash corrupted the files, requiring a restart from scratch.

During today's gameplay, the game crashed midway. After restarting and re-entering the game, the Spike Chunsoft screen appeared, but the game continued running without displaying anything on the screen.
After uninstalling and reinstalling the game on STEAM, the issue remains the same.
After cross-checking and deleting the file records, everything returned to normal, but everything was gone, and we had to start over.

私も同様の症状になり、CommonSaveData.savを削除してプレイ出来るようになりましたが代償は大きいです。

You should be able to restore your cloud save copy from the Steam Cloud Save website. Please look online how to do this - it happened to me in UFO50 and I was able to restore a save from only an hour before from the cloud and fix the issue.
