Iron Shovel bugged?

Im crafting one then i have no iron shovel in my inventory. Im crafting one using it one or two time then again have no iron shovel... is this only on my save so...?
(i can craft steel shovel but thats not the case here)

Strange behavior. However, if you equip a tool from inventory, one that's not on your rotation wheel by using "V", it will not show up in your inventory any longer. It has moved to your hand out of inventory. If a tool is in the rotation wheel, and you use "V" to equip, it is still in inventory. I hope this is some of the problem...
