Cant get Shui Fruit to respawn

Trying to upgrade desert great tree to lvl 4, but it takes 3 Shui Fruit. I've grabbed all that are on the tree, but they are not respawning at all. Afraid I may be locked out from upgrading the tree.

While I don't know what's causing your fruit not to respawn, I do recall that there is flora that spawns in the arid ecosystem that yields shui fruit.

Just noticed this too (After spending 30mins wandering tending the area). Looks like you can plant Strange Seeds to grow Shui Shrubs.
