Giant eye

So quick question is anyone else receiving a reward for giving 8 pieces Resin to the giant eye on the beach of Amani Island? I have given this guy 32 pieces of resin already thinking I would get the giant eyegoop from him or at least some sort of reward, but I still haven't received anything from him yet. Also His request isn't showing up in the fill orders either. Anyone else having this issues?

the "giant eye goop" reward is given, but it spawns inside him.
You can find it if you slowly walk into him and move around him and eventually you will see it but its a known issue and annoying.

Thank you for the tip!! As soon as I did that I was able to retrieve the 5 giant eyegoops that i have been needing. Thais is definitely a very annoying glitch in the game.

Fun fact, there’s a second giant’s eye way atop one of the peaks in Anja Rise. I don’t know if it gives the same reward or not because I didn’t have the materials. Anyone else?

there are even 4 giant eyes. at least i only found four so far

Oh dang. So I'm near the end of the game and it seems their only use (so far) is in crafting stuff to endure the Withered zones. Once those are cleared, you don't really need these anymore. I will say, there's an elixir to give you five minutes of relief that uses the eye goop from the first Giant's eye on the starter island, and it was a huge help in clearing that last region, which was a lot tougher than the rest.
