Pause the game please

So another game where we can't pause.
I'm a disabled gamer, and I need to be able to pause the game at a moments notice.
I'm getting tired of asking new games to implement this feature in their game, especially when it's a more singleplayer (with simple multi player) game.

If I press the ESC key the game should pause in the background, if I interact with an NPS, a workbench or a building the game should pause and I cannot be attacked by enemies.

It's not that difficult...

They have offline mode coming in the first quarter of next year on their roadmap, so hopefully pause feature will be added at that time.

Hopefully, but some other games have offline modes and no pause option so it's not certain.
But this group of devs do seem to listen, so we can hope!

If you add to that that enemies and hostile creatures constantly spawn next to you, it is impossible to pause playing if you are not in a town.

If you want it, I guess - but I use my 'pause time' that I need, to wait for those darn countdown timers on the crafting materials we need to make the things we need for building up the villages. It's pretty easy to just climb up the nearest wall/cliff and stand in a nook, that way you've at least gotten something done while you're AFK. Nothing can get you if you're up a tree or cliff that I've come across yet anyway. Unless you're needing to pause literally in mid-battle, but I've never been able to do that! :)
