hard to find and when you do, it's only 1 per node. need more limestone

i walked around for 10 minutes the other day looking for a single stone so I could recraft my pickaxe....Could not find a single stone.
Ended up quitting out and reloading to reset spawns

I agree...Sometimes finding resources is a damn annoying chore....

I have noticed that things like stone or limestone are located in set areas...you just need to go back and forward from another load area to reset the spawn.

There are nodes of limestone in certain areas North and North East of Midhaven.

Just east of midhaven, on the side of the half-moon mountain range, there is a sort of valley, full of mining resources (stone, limestone, clay). This is where I go most often, but there is plenty of limestone just around midhaven too. Look at the base of cliffs and on those mushroom-looking pillars (south of midhaven)

Go up towards the Altar/Teleport on the South East of Midhaven. To the east of the Alter there is a valley with a lake. The area between the lake and the mountain face with the alter has a lot of limestone. Once you see what it looks like, you will be swimming in it.

There's plenty of limestone on the mainland. You just need to find the spots. Try west and slightly south of Midhaven, along the large trench path, to name one main area for it.

Yeah, there are a couple right in the roadway a little after the bridge. There are at least 5 pieces if you do the "Altar/Teleport on the South East of Midhaven. To the east of the Alter there is a valley with a lake" path..... I also noted that due east of Midhaven itself is a "withered tower" there that I was farming for kills to finish Ruslans quest.... right around that build is another 4-5 limestone as well.

Note that if you pick up something, and then go portal somewhere and portal right back.... the old limestone will reappear, making it fairly easy to farm.

Also, if it wasn't obvious, resources are static. Meaning they always spawn in the same spot. When you portal, they all reset. So, if you find an area with 5-6 iron nodes for example, you can mine them, use a portal, and then they'll reappear exactly where they were. It's not random. So, make notes of where you find the rarer stuff.

I found eight nodes and got 13 total limestone on the walk between the bridge and Midhaven. Some on the road and some up to the left a teensy bit into the rocks.
