Regrowing Aghasba Quest - Clearing Withered Air
This is a me problem, but I'm soo lost on how to progress this quest and clear out the withered air so I can plant the second seed? I keep trying to get back to Hudra to ask but I keep dying every time I get close to him lol.

It is a bit confusing, but recommend planting the tropical ecosystem and building up Midhaven to Tier I first. Then, it's intended for you to clear the Shrine that starts with an "I" (forget the name) to the East of Midhaven. It sort of "teaches" you how to clear shrines in order to reveal the map and purge the withered effect. From there, you can start on the other zones. The Rise area where the forest god is, is best done as the second or third clear. Also, just run past him and don't click on him yet until you repair the shrine. Head up the hill past him and follow the trees (see below). Once in the damaging zone, you can use elixirs (Midhaven production building), but you don't need to. After the last update enduring the withering damage is much easier. Just follow the bright trees and click them to gain a buff to be immune. They will lead to the portals and shrines. Best to just run past all the enemies. Another tip, bring enough Amity to activate the portals that are always close by the shrine. Once you activate the portal and click on the shrine (to see what's needed), just portal out to a safe area. Then you can portal back into the danger zone and complete the shrine without taking damage and you're now safe to explore that new area. Rinse and repeat.

The more you progress, the more options the game uses to kill you. Its a little horror story, not the cozy "regrow the nature" game. To your problem: I read you would have to use the portals. Set them free/to working mode and you should be fine. But other sources say they died while talking to the Wood God, so there might be more to it.

It is certainly feeling that way. Haha. Thank you for the guidance!

I'm confused on this part of the quest as well. Huldra is in the Anja forest which is controlled by the Withered and I start taking damage when enter the region. So I feel like there was supposed to be something I'm supposed to do before this on learning how to deal with the withered? I did make it to Huldra where he mentions destroying something of the withered but I don't know how to be in the region and not take damage yet lol Definitely needs some clarity
yes im stuck at this point as well...i cant figure it out either.....The quest says just go visit and talk to the quest marker guy but you cant actually get there because of the withered region kills you....wtf?

I figured it out one piece out. You can plant the Tropical Seed in the Midhaven region. It made it seem like we had to plant it in the Anja region. Which is true but we arn't quite to that level yet. So plant your 1st tropical seed you get from Huldra need Midhaven and go from there. Should open up some options with Ajit anyway.

This is incredibly helpful - awarding this one for anyone else who needs this answer! I don't know why I was so dead set on clearing the zone first before planting the seed.... I didn't realize I could plant the seed anywhere on the main island before going down that road. :') Thank you all!
