anybody found one rainbow mushrom yet?
got the king tree at lvl4 and need it for the upgrade, it says you can find it in the king tree area but never seen one, planting shrooms like crazy but nada, any idea?

hope thats the proper translation of of the shrom sadly no option to turn game into english

I am going to assume it was in the obvious place (around the King Tree) otherwise he would likely have stated his confusion in the follow up comment... it might merely take a lot of RNG of mushroom planting or harvesting?

i watched a youtube show the rainbow shroom drops off a high lvl tree (did not see name) in the temperate zone near the king tree. no branches with shrooms up the sides, good luck have not found my own yet

I got one. I believe it was in the High Rise zone on the mainland. There's a lot of high end trees and resources all over that require iron+ tools. That's where I got mine. Over in the area with all the massive towers. Scan the ground areas more to the south, close (ish) to the second sacred forest and near the huge shrine portal atop the cliffs.

sorry was on vacation and didnt see the comments, unless you guys alredy found out it is a tree growing around the lvl4 king tree, the tree is thin and straight with red leafs, verry rare but can be artificially grown with normal seeds, rng in planting is the only issue here but definitelly plantable

Yep Upaash tree, Tier 3 or 4 (more so 4). It's rare. Just keep planting seeds and you'll find one eventually.
