Game Stopper: Cannot Place Tailor Building

Game stopper: tailor building floor is too large for the area around Midhaven after placing lumbermill and apothecary shop. (I placed the lumbermill and apothecary next to one another.)
The building template is all red. Warnings are either "something is in the way" or "inadequate flooring for the current placement". You need to reduce the floor size of the tailor building or other buildings. I ran all the way around Midhaven. There is no permitted location. Game over for me.

have you tried the up/down buttons? I had the same issue but I had to elevate the structure using the up/down so i can place the stuff

Update: I kept trying and found a place where the red flashed for a sliver of a second. I kept moving it mm x mm and found one line where it could be placed. However, there needs to be some improvement for this placement. The ground space per building is too large. Since you aren't really building anything, there should just be dedicated spaces until it gets fixed.

Are you placing buildings on the platform areas (with stairs to different levels) inside of Midhaven or trying to put them outside of the walls?

Outside of the walls, of course. None of the buildings would fit inside the city. As you can see if you read the thread, I found a place for the tailor shop.

@fvincentj: I want to thank you SO much! I never noticed the scroll bar up/down location tweak. I never have problems placing buildings now. Just blind, I guess. :)
