I must have missed that note. Since I was able to move the hut I just assumed I could move all the buildings.
I get why they don't allow it for the colossal trees given they trigger biome level changes to the world. But I feel like the buildings placed within the range of the village marker aren't as big a deal. Perhaps they don't want issues if a production/refining building is doing something when someone tries to move it.
If you're willing to get me your save file and email me that save file I can get you a new mining town marker or see if I can't fix your save. Try foundations to get more build-able area as well.
The last save you opened should be playersave_#.sav if you sort your folder by date modified. Shooting you a steam friend request if you're interested, send me your save and I can either fix your mining town or get you a new mining town token.
