You can see from the trailer, one mount.

I looks as if you tame certain creatures to get them to roam the biomes you terraform. You might call those pets.

I guess we will find out on Nov 19th.

Nothing only against you, juniorpiloto, but I really can't believe that people don't just simply watch the trailers and wait for the 19th instead of just... following the massive hints on almost every topic and join the discord or - shocking thought - wait until it's out and then see / read what it`s like.
I`m impatient and can`t wait for the 19th, aswell, but.. patience is the key. And to read the reviews after a few hours/days how the game is.

Hey there! I'm one of the devs of Towers of Aghasba. At launch, there will only be a single type of mount. We plan to introduce a creature relationship system and mount management system later during our Early Access period!

Creature taming system will get you insane sales like ARK people are addicted to animal taming/creature breeding/capturing/hunting that stuff equals = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I am sorry but what ARK does is not "taming" in any real sense of the word; there are a few animals you can beat into submission... but most you drug into a stupor and feed them... when they wake up both types are your willing slaves for life.

This game (heck, all games) should do better than that. Enshrouded's last update did better than that with their pets (food and petting until they trust you). . . . and one of the unique things about this game is that its mostly about you working WITH the ecology in order to get things done. Doing what ARK did for taming would be a betrayal of those ideals, IMO.

From what I saw in the game play video they just put out, you can feed and heal sick or hungry creatures back to health. Or you can kill them, your choice. The assumption is, they will be a thriving part of the ecosystem if you help them. Not sure they will be your slave though. It might be a bit like Planet Crafter. Unlike PC, you have oxygen at the start, but other parts of the ecosystem need your help. You plant a gigantic tree and other things. The more things you do to help it, the larger the growing area of the biome becomes. There are probably triggers where creatures appear at certain points. Creatures you need to progress and craft items.

Besides myself, I've seen a few others mention Pine—I hope the devs take a look at it, especially if they consider adding more tribe-like human characters like elves. They really nailed the ecosystem, with species that adapt to your actions and a world that feels alive and constantly evolving around you. Every choice impacts Albamare’s ecology, shifting power dynamics between species, leading to migrations, territorial takeovers, and even extinctions. The island feels genuinely alive—species learn from your behavior, adapting to your strategies, while natural events like storms or day-night cycles affect their actions, making every interaction and environment feel meaningful. It’s an incredible blend of organic world-building and player-driven change
