wait is that for real orrrr? i always thought the game had customization.
there is actually no male/female option you're jus a character that just exist.
this is going to be a issue for the game this is one of the big reasons PINE didn't sell a lot because you were stuck as one character (and why games like MONSTER hunter are so popular because of customization) weird DEV choice.

I get people that want a fully customizable character. Depending on how much story the game has, though, it might not make sense. But people whose only real gripe is that they can't play a game if they're a lady is just laughable. Says a lot about them.

MH are popular because the combat is always fantastic, not because you can chose the genital of the character you dont see under all the massive armors and weapon...

that and the character customization which is one thing i frequently see on social media of people having fun designing their own character. If you're playing an online game you don't want a carbon copy of your character, you want to be able to separate it from your buddy.

now if this game is designed with a heavy focus on story and it's their story line character i get it.

but they also won't even say if the MC is a HE or a SHE ? I don't know. None of the Main character questions are answered on discord

I dont disagree ont this point, if they have a real character with a story it would be understandable, but i doubt it'll be the case as this game is supposedly a survival/coop.
Beside Green Hell i dont think i remember any other game that was a fun survival and had a story with already established character.

Is this a story based game or like your typical survival sandbox type game?
If its a story based game it makes sense but if its your typical survival sandbox type game then a lack of character creator option seems odd. It always irked me that you had to essentially play a duplicated main character in the dying light but at least I was like I guess its ok since he is the main character of that story.
Either way i'm glad someone asked this question because from the trailer I figured it was a mix of custom characters with masks and garb.

The main game and story are not co-op. Seems like the co-op is just to "visit" someone else's world.

I started to notice in the coop mode all the characters look the same, i wonder why that is a design decision? was the game meant to be a story based game, because in the majority of the videos the base character without the armor/mask on look the same. I feel the it's going to be a day one thing that bugs people.

I'm just fine with a female protagonist... there are a lot of great game where you play a female character.
