Draw Distance Mod?

It's been nearly eleven years since this game came our, and maybe a few years since this came out on PC. However, the draw distance is just atrocious.

I've searched a few threads, and they all redirect to planetdriver.de, where they used to host a draw distance mod. I stress "used", as it is no longer available, throwing a 404 error in it's place.

Talk of the mod being around last dated back to 2016. Is there any way that this could somehow be uploaded again? It really is messing with how much I'm enjoying the game, since this never happened on PS2, to my knowledge, and also, due to that I'm too used to newer games that don't have this kind of pop-in.

Nah, doesn't seem to work for me. Still have lights, peds, cars and stuff popping in.

Welp. That's the one that was being passed around back in 2016 and even further back..
Sorry it didn't help. In my playthroughs I've not noticed it much, if at all, and can see cars for a good distance away. Lighting may be a different case, but more on that later.
By any chance though, did you install all the files where they belong? Just checking.
Everything that's in "Moods" should go in the directory of the same name, it's okay to overwrite.

Yeah, I installed it right. I've only bought and installed it a couple of weeks ago, so I feel I'm very late in the game.

I'm pretty sure I put the right things in the right places. If not, I think I'd be having much more serious issues by now.

There is some very very very far off pop-up on my setting, but as far as I can tell, the pop-up occurs long before I can possibly reach the objects that -do- pop up.

Hmm.. That is rather strange. Here's what I suggest, then.
Open Driver Parallel Lines' Moods directory in within Steam's files, should be located around...
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Driver Parallel Lines\Moods
Right click on a file in there (example, "05_now_day_end_mood.txt") and see when it was last modified and/or created. If it was created around April 9th of this year, it should be the stuff I provided, if not, it's more than likely the default files, which will need replacing with the draw distance mod stuff.
If that still doesn't work, I'm not sure what it could be. Long-shot guess is that it may be a graphics card issue, which wouldn't be too far off given how this particular game acts up on some chips when switching eras or exiting to the main menu.
If you happen to figure anything out from what I've provided though, let me know.
I know I sure would be grumbly if my drawdistance was that short!

Hi Air Chomp, I downloaded Driver: Parallel Lines 'Draw Distance” but it is not configured and I don't know how to configure it. Could you send me yours for me to download.

This file is rare, and when it finds it is not configured. And I don't speak English very well.
