Game not loading

My game will not load uninstalled and reinstalled same thing always crashes on the loading screen...

I also can't get the game to run directly on Windows 10 1909. Tried compatibility settings. Directplay in legacy components is enabled. Strangely though it will run on the same version of Windows in a vmware virtual machine!

I'm thinking its a Directx problem I see it wants to run something or update something right before the game starts to load.

I've fixed it on my system which has a Nvidia GT750M. I'd installed the Geforce experience app and updated to the latest drivers thinking this would lead to better performance. Not at all with an old graphics card - I've noticed in several games slower graphics. I reverted to the old driver's and removed the Geforce experience app. Windows automatically updated the drivers to a version that it thinks is optimal. Rebooted and now the game works on Windows 10 1909!

Check your drivers and related apps. Good luck!

Hmm thanks for the idea really dont want to un install geforce prob take it out of start up and reboot and give that a shot. Maybe it will do an update that way..

I had the same problem. The fix for me at least was one that works with a lot of games that won't start. I usually run my computer on duplicate to see it on my TV and monitor. All I did was got to where you change the resolution and under"multiple displays" I put it on 1 rather than duplicate and it started the next time I tried it. Hopefully this helps all or at least some of you.

There's loads that doesn't work with the dreaded Windows 10 ... Which is why I stick to Windows 8.1 where this game works fine without any compatibility modes in use to my knowledge. The games I have which don't work with Windows 10 seriously annoyed me enough to revert whilst I still had the chance. NOT Going back there either!

Windows 10 has not stopped me from playing 1 game, ever. I own over 400 games on Steam, 50+ on Uplay, about 30 on Origin, about 60 on Epic and every game on Battle Net not to mention all the games I have downloaded using torrents. Sorry for your luck but Windows 10 is not the problem for the vast majority of the problems that some people say it is.
