1 Handed Edged = Carnage = Dps Tree
The Conqueror class is a tanking class so just focus on the Brute spec. Most tank builds will put the majority of their points in Brute and the rest in the General part of the tree. (General btw is the same for all tank classes. All archetypes like tanks, Rogues, Mages and Healers have their own General tree).
Now for the Disciplines and Formations (a,k.a: banners). They are essentially buffs for you and/or your group.
Conquerors have two basic buffs. Disciplines and Formations. Formations can be used to plant a Banner which will do various effects based on the Conqueror's active Formation (basically makes it stronger for a short period of time). Disciplines can be used to further increase the Conqueror's own abilities, usually providing a temporary stronger version of the active Discipline, only applying to the Conqueror.
Conquerors will often be expected to off tank, usually letting a Dark Templar or Guardian be the main tank. The class is especially appreciated in groups and raids for the buffs he brings with his banners, but also because of his unique ability to resurrect a dead teammate during combat.
That pretty much covers the basics. The only advice I can give you is to just play your character. Level him up to 80 and learn how to use him. Then you can join a guild and you'll have plenty of friendly fellow players to help you learn how to play your character in 6-man dungeons and raids.

The game doesn't have a lot of post activity here on steam. Once you're on the forums if you don't find any Conq stuff, look for the link to the archive old AoC forums and they'll be stuff there.
As always google is your friend: https://forums-archive.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?182768-Conq-Solo-Build
