Overhaul and rerelease?

Funcom, this game is a GEM. Ever think about overhauling the game completely and re-releasing it?

If I remember the biggest complaints at release was gear optimization and the pvp leveling system.

Funcom doesn't monitor this page and we have grave doubts that they pay attention to their official page.

No the biggest complaints at release was after Tortage the voice acting disappeared and there was a HUGE leveling gap between Tortage and lvl 30-40? It got a bad rep and never shook that off.

But it is a gem and there's really nothing else out there like it.

Steam isn't FunCom lol, i would say the same about Secret World.

Funcom is busy working on DUNE: AWAKENING sandbox survival (like Conan Exiles).

I do agree that AoC should become fully F2P including the expansion and get an updated Premium-Shop.

Funcom never pay attention to their own games. Same issue with The Secret World which is a very good MMORPG but they released Secret World Legends (Free to play) and deleted content from the original game, and they don't pay attention to it anymore. I told them about an issue with my account several time for two years, no answers since. The only good thing is that they keep the servers online. But don't expect them to listen the community.

I hear they won't reply to your issue for AoC unless you're subscribed. I kinda doubt they reply at all.

I poked around with a few comments about AoC in the DUNE Discord to the Funcom staff. No reply about it. hah.

Someone did a petition last fall and actually got an answer back. The guy wasn't asking for anything drastic, just a little love, bug fixes, turn on special events kind of thing and the designated AoC guy said there's no one assigned to maintaining the game so what we have currently is it.

He did say that anything is possible down the road, but for now; nada.

Almost 16 years ... Just Remaster the current state of the game, re-release it and see how many people come back ... Jesus, I miss the good old days with Lvl59 PVP, most tryhard thing I´ve ever experienced :D

Yeh. I've not been able to re-create the open world PvP experience that AoC gave me back then.

I would use one of three magic wished to revive this game.

Funcom is a total ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mismanaged organisation. I highly doubt any of the brain dead management they have left have the slightest clue.

Agree .. this game could be flawless in unreal 5.4

Overhaul the combat, revamp the content and game play, and this would be the best MMO ever. I love this game and I wish they would actually update it for 2024.

I reckon if everyone were to consistently prod them about the old games that are on life support then that'll garner somewhat of a response regarding the state of them.
