Old Account Troubles and cannot pay with Paypal

Hey there.
Trying to buy funcom points for my old AoC account and I got problems left right and center.
First of all, I can login fine on the page the Account button on the launcher sends me to, but the login page of https://account.ageofconan.com/ that you get redirected to from inside the game rejects me on the basis of " Authentication failed, no valid game subscription " which is a bit funny since it's free to play and i am ingame right now after all.
The working page, https://register.ageofconan.com/account works well apart from every link sending me to *drumroll* https://register.ageofconan.com/account/subscription/ctrl/tsw/accountname...where my Age of Conan account doesn't appear to be listed.
Now if I want to add AOC there it redirects me back to the register page BUT only lets me make a NEW account, not link the account I am even logged in right now.

Oh and every time I try to buy coins on https://register.ageofconan.com/account/paidservice/ctrl/offer it rejects my payments from paypal, my only payment option since I have no credit card.

I have 100 euro on my paypal account, ready and waiting to be spent on Age of Conan.
And I am slowly loosing patience with this travesty of a clusterf*** of three different pages for account management shennanigans.

My guess is that it all works over the https://account.ageofconan.com/ website but as I said before, for some reason, I cannot log in because of a lack of game subscription.
Yet to subscribe I would need to be logged in, no?

Please, tell me you can sort out this confusing mess so I can finally pay and play properly.

And yes, I did send a ticket already. But since the consensus in game chat was that it takes forever I am posting this here as well.
Who knows, maybe somebody knows something I don't.
