Missing characters

I haven't played this game full time since 2010 (rise of godslayer) but I did return briefly in 2017 before conan exiles was released. My characters were all there. Today I returned 3 years later, and I only have 3 characters, the locked character slots show no other characters existing when I know for a fact I had some max lvl Khitan character.
