Rise of the Godslayer Retail box

Hello everyone,

I have a quick question. If I were to buy the retail version of Rise of the Godslayer (Amazon/Ebay) do folks think the CD will still be valid. Given that it's ten years old I just want to check that they haven't discontinued their use or something like that.

That's how I got mine a couple of years back ($5) and the CD key was still valid.

It's an official Funcom product, the company hasn't changed hands so there's no reason for it not to work. So if it's cheaper than getting it via the ingame store go for it. 30 days VIP, the rhino and new race, it's all worth it.

Now I didn't think the game play was, but that's just me as I don't like the repeat faction quest type stuff, but I'm still glad I got the pack.

The one thing they DID discontinue was the time cards you used to be able to get.

I bought it but the key doesn't work. It maybe because Funcom locked my account due to an issue with paypal. Created a ticket two weeks ago and still waiting for my month I paid for to be unlocked. Terrible customer service but hopefully in however many weeks I can try again and it will work.
