Wish this was single player... with the amount of detail in the levels and playstyle it could have been a mature skyrim. Funcom ♥♥♥♥ed that up, and when this game dies early next year nobody will be able to play it. They should port the game to singleplayer or Coop with microtransactions so fanboys can help recoop costs and maybe Funcom could not only keep this alive but maybe run a bit of a profit as well. Skyrim has made more money than 99% of MMO's except WOW. Make the change so we can all enjoy this game!

Want to buy, but I feel in its current state and player base I would not get my money's worth.

I dont think a mmo has ever made it self avaible as a single player game and I am not sure why. Could be imposible for it to be played localy for some reason but if private servers exist for MMOs surely they could create a single player version.

While I dont think the game will be shut down any time soon because fun com still has anarchy online up after all these years. I do think that MMO games in genral should have a single player version released when they shut down.

Ones with a PVP focus like warhammer online would of felt very empty though. So in a case like that it wouldnt be worth it for the comapny. Funcom does have money though and they would probely just rather keep this game up for like another 10 years and have no dev time put on it. Rather then put dev time and money into it to make it single player.

Thats why i would take single player games over MMOs anyday and conan exiles is a step in the right direction having a single player mode. I also belive funcom has a single player conan game planned in the future so it does seem like they are future proofing there games.

Games F2p so I don't know what you want to buy? And I don't know where you're getting your info from but the "game dies early next year" isn't going to happen. With the opening of the Saga server in Feb, numerous old players and totally brand new one's have started playing.
